Music video shoot – day 2

So the second day of shooting has come to an end. We got some amazing shots and the actors were all outstanding. One more weekend of filming coming up, and then we’re off to editing! Here are some photos of the day:

Music video shoot – day 1

Today was the first day of filming for the “Fell Out Of The Sky” music video! The unbearable smoke and ash from the Sylmar fire forced us to change ALL of our locations today, but we were fortunate to find some great alternate locations. All of the actors and crew were great! More shooting tomorrow, […]

West Hollywood Halloween Carnival in a Tinky Winky costume

This is what happens when you go to the West Hollywood Halloween Carnival in an incredible Tinky Winky teletubby costume. We were only there about an hour and Angela ended up posing with over 300 people. (and this is only about 1/2 of the photos!)

Dan Friel, Bromp Treb, Diagram A, Urthquake show

Was lucky to see a great show in Greenfield, MA when I was back there a few weeks ago. Was good to see a bunch of people I haven’t seen in years. Urthquake (Bob ex-Squidlaunch) started off the show with his noisy, guitar-loop-filled set, rockin the pointy-headstock guitar. Bromp Treb (featuring Neil of Fat Worm […]

Road trip updates!

Well it ended up being too cold to camp, which means too cold to record any new songs while camping! I guess I’ll have to try out the State Shirt back country mobile recording studio some other day. Today I made it all the way out to Massachusetts. Traveled along some windy back roads and […]

Photos from the road

Ok, so I’m not exactly on tour, but I am driving across the US, taking some photos and recording some music along the way. Today I drove for a while along Route 66 in California, and spent some quality time with a few dilapidated houses and buildings. The setting sun was providing some perfect lighting, […]

Figuring stuff out on my road trip.

So this year has started off to a bit of a mess musically. New album is still not quite finished! The guy I was hoping would mix the album needed to back out. And I’ve been trying to work with an indie label over the last couple years and we just never seemed to get […]

California gray whale

We went to Zuma beach early yesterday morning with the hopes of seeing a California gray whale make their way back up the coast to Alaska from Baja. The weather was perfect, no wind, the ocean was calm and glassy and the sky was overcast, perfect conditions to spot wildlife in the sea. Hung around […]

Last Friday’s SongFight L.A. Show!

Had a great time playing with the SongFight.org regulars down at the Spot Cafe and Lounge this past Friday. Got to see a bunch of fighters that I haven’t seen in a while as well as meet a few new shiny happy faces. Got to hear a bunch of classics and some new songs by […]
