The music on my next album will be entirely audio created by you, and I need your help!

Send me drumbeats, noises, guitar parts, a cappella vocals, accordian, part of a song you never finished, spoken words, screaming, your cat. Whatever you're inspired to send. I will merge, tweak, remix and piece together all of your samples and make an album.

The album will be released as a Creative Commons licensed free download. This page will be updated as new songs are posted!

Be a part of the open source music movement.

Here's how to participate:

Send your original audio or music samples (can't be someone else's copyrighted material). Save it as a .WAV or .MP3 file and send it to me, along with your name so you can be credited. I'll find ways to incorporate all of these samples together into a State Shirt album. Being a musician is not required! Send as much audio as you like.

A few ways to send audio:

SoundCloud:
Send me your track through SoundCloud. It's neat.

Send me your track

YouSendIt:
You can also send me files of up to 100MB through YouSendIt.com. Make sure to use stateshirt AT stateshirt DOT com as the recipient.

All samples submitted will be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike license. I intend for the final album to be a free of charge, non-commercial, download-only album. (I will work with all involved parties on the publishing side in the chance that some entity wants to license one of these songs commercially).
